Geocaching Hike

  • Lake Kegonsa State Park 2405 Door Creek Rd, Stoughton, WI 53589 (map)

Join TEAMSurvivor members and explore the world of geocaching while enjoying a hike. Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting activity that uses GPS-enabled devices (your phone). In geocaching, participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the "geocache," (usually a hidden container of various sizes) at that location. It’s a fun addition to any hike. For more information about geocaching, download the free app at geocaching.com. You’ll need the app to find the cache.

We will meet at the Park entrance and hike the yellow and blue trails – approximately 2.5 miles. There are at least 5 geocaches on the trails.

Jill O. and Ilene K. will be leading this adventure. If you are interested, please contact Ilene at ilenek@teamsurvivormadison.org. More detailed information will be provided to those that sign up. Please RSVP by April 17.
