About TEAMSurvivor Madison
TEAMSurvivor Madison, Inc. was formed in January 2003 with the goal of building an empowering community around fitness and friendship for women affected by cancer. We are an all volunteer, member driven organization that provides free or low cost fitness activities, social events, and health education programs for women with a past or present diagnosis of any form of cancer.
Our fun and supportive programs offer women the opportunity to reclaim their fitness, gain a sense of accomplishment, build a social support system, and achieve renewed comfort with their bodies and their health. Our activitiess have included hiking, biking, paddling, dragon boating, disc golf, pickleball, bowling, games, etc.
This grassroots organization draws members from Dane and surrounding counties, and virtual members from around the State of Wisconsin and beyond.
TEAMSurvivor Madison, Inc. is organized as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
TEAMSurvivor Madison in the Community
Year round, our members, families and friends volunteer at sponsor and partner outreach events. This way, we support our community as it supports us. In some cases, these volunteer activities are fundraisers for our programming. Watch the website, member newsletter, and calendar for opportunities to volunteer.
