Programming
TEAMSurvivor Madison is committed to providing a variety of fitness activities for its members.
Membership is required in order to participate in ongoing activities.
We invite you to experience the fun of fitness!
Read on for examples of the type of activities you can enjoy when you join TSM. For detailed information and to participate, become a member or log into your account.
TEAMSurvivor Madison Safety Policy
The safety and security of our members is our priority. TEAMSurvivor Madison encourages current vaccination for COVID-19. For indoor and outdoor activity, masks are welcome but not required. No masks can be worn on watercraft. TSM wants members to feel comfortable participating in group activities. Please stay home if you have any respiratory symptoms, are feeling ill, have tested positive for COVID, or have come in contact with someone who has COVID, and follow the CDC's isolation recommendations.
Notify TSM at info@teamsurvivormadison.org if you test positive for COVID within 5 days after your participation in a TSM activity. Your privacy will be respected but we will inform other members of their potential exposure during the activity.

Air Quality Guideline
If the Air Quality Index (AQI) is above 150, then outdoor programming will be cancelled. (151 and above is considered unhealthy for all.)
If the Air Quality Index is below 150, participation is up to the discretion of the member.

Program Leaders will do the best they can to predict what the AQI will be at the time of the program based on data available to them.
Members will be informed by TSM email of any programming cancellation by mid afternoon if it is an evening activity.

Feb. 28 – Member initiated Join Me’s - Hike, bike, socialize, etc. See below on how to initiate an activity.

TSM Activities Include…
Indoor Activities
Members participate in classes focusing on strength, flexibility and balance. These are offered as virtual fitness sessions and in-person classes.
Outdoor Activities
Activities include hikes at local County and State Parks, as well as cross country skiing and snowshoeing. TSM organizes group outings, and members also contact each other to find activity partners and support to keep moving.
Run/Walks
Members participate in both preplanned and impromptu walks or hikes, and organized community events too. We form teams for the Race for Research, Badger Challenge, Gilda’s Run/Walk, Berbee Derby Event on Thanksgiving morning, and other events.
Biking
Recreational bike rides for all fitness levels provide an opportunity to explore Madison and the surrounding communities.
Triathlons
Members have trained together and participated in various triathlons held in Wisconsin.
Dragon Boating
Since 2003 members have participated in regional dragon boat festivals including Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, Superior, Oshkosh, and Minocqua, WI. Our weekly on-water dragon boat paddling practice is held May-September at Brittingham Boats in Madison.
Recreational Paddling
Members participate in kayaking, stand-up-paddling, and/or canoeing outings during the warm weather months.
