Activity Leader’s Guidelines


If you choose to lead an activity for Team Survivor members, please take note of the following guidelines

General Information for All Events and Activities

•   Write a description of the event or activity.

  • include your name and the co-leader’s name, email and phone number of the contact person event date, time, and location

  • if there is a fee make sure to include the amount and where and when it is to be paid.

  • This information will be posted on the website and/or Facebook page.

  • Send this information to info@teamsurvivormadison.org for review by the Program Committee an notification of members

  • You will be contacted once the Program Committee confirms there are no conflicts with dates and times

•   Make arrangements or reservations for the event.

•   Provide follow up info to members who have signed up, if necessary

•   Gather all equipment needed for the activity

•   Show up at least 15 minutes prior to the activity

•   Welcome participants and do introductions

•   Have a good time!

•   Debrief the activity with the participants

•   Follow up with photos for the website or FB

TSM Sponsored Event

In addition to the General Guidelines and

•   Create a list of participants

•   Obtain a TSM waiver

•   Check in the participants as they arrive

•   Have members sign the waiver

•   Email the completed sign-in waiver to the membership chair

 

Event Sponsored by Other Organizations

In addition to the General Guidelines

 *The Event should be related to the TSM Mission Statement

  • Provide information from the 3rd party for sign-ups, including how to join a TSM Team and/or fees

  • Maintain the roster from notifications sent by sponsoring organization.

  • Send a reminder about date, time and location

  • Greet everyone as they arrive, and check list of members signed up (so no one is left behind)
