Let’s enjoy the natural beauty of Madison’s waterways, coupled with some urban exploration. If you’ve wanted to check out the new Public Market, here’s your chance.

We’ll park in the spots along Thornton Avenue in Tenney Park and meet at the intersection of Thornton and Sherman Avenue. We’ll cross Sherman to look for boats coming through the locks and then head south on the Yahara River Parkway trail.

On our way back, we’ll detour to the Madison Public Market, stroll the stalls, and have a Chocolate Shoppe ice cream cone if you’d like.
