GWN Dragon Boat Festival (Chicago)
July 27th – Busse Park – Schaumburg, IL
The Chicago festival has teams from all over the country and is a beautiful race venue on a small lake. It’s a great festival to see some really great teams race.
This festival has a bus option – Why ride the bus? You can visit with fellow TSM members on the way up and back, nap on the drive up and back and have room for all your gear. It can be tiring to drive after racing all day. The bus will drop/pick up near the festival site.
GWN also has a merchandise tent for paddles, shirts and other gear.
We will be in the All-Cancer Survivor division and paddle against other survivor teams.
GWN also has a hotel discount at the Marriott.
